Angelina Rivera

Angelina Rivera Loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior Monday, June 3, 2013 at the age of 85. She was born in Magdalena, New Mexico to Ismael and Fransica. Angelina loved singing and going to the casino. She adored her family and loved spending time with them. She is preceded in death by her sons Danny Rivera, Robert "Jimmy" Rivera and husband George Rivera, Sr. Angelina is survived by children Helen Romero and husband Tony, George Rivera and wife Michele, Gloria Marquez and husband Tony, Joann Romero and husband Edward and Isabel Barela and husband Joe; 24 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends. Angelina will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 412 Stover Ave SW, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am followed by a reciting of the Rosary at 10:00 am. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am; Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale Blvd SE. Pallbearers are Phillip Romero, Albert Romero, Joseph Barela, Louie Barela, Daniel Romero and Eddie Romero. Honorary Pallbearers are John Rivera and Rudy Romero.
