Angie Casaus

December 9, 1929 — January 4, 2012

Casaus, Angie Age 82, born December 9, 1929 in Alpine Texas went home to be with the Lord January 4, 2012. Angie is preceded in death by her loving parents, Leo and Anna Gonzales; brothers, Natividad and Leo Gonzales Jr.; her husband, of 55 years Alfredo A. Casaus; two grandchildren, Anthony and Tanya Casaus. Angie is survived her 8 children, Al Casaus, Jr and fiancee Crystal Chavez, Michael and Isabel Casaus, Anna (Couger) Casaus, Steven Casaus, Lucille and Robert West, Angela and Ken Osborne, Julie and Christopher Chavez, David and Sandra Casaus. Also numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; one brother, David and his wife Lucille Gonzales and sister, Julie Cordova and many other friends and relatives. The Casaus Family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. A special thank you to her neighbors, Abe and Connie Apodaca and Mr & Mrs Griego. A very special thank you to her Zia Hospice nurses, Joan and Liz. Visitation will take place on Monday, January 9, 2012 at Daniels Family Funeral Service Carlisle Chapel from 5:00 pm to 7:00pm. The rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5211 Phoenix Ave., NE at 10:00 am. A graveside service will be held at 12:45 pm at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM. Pallbearers will be Al, Michael, Steve and David Casaus and son-in-laws, Robert West, Christopher Chavez and Ken Osborne. Angie's care has been entrusted to: Daniels Family Funeral Services
