Anita Lopez Contreras

Contreras, Annie Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior Friday, October 11, 2013 at the age of 87. She was born in Los Padillas, New Mexico to Ventura and Teodorita Lopez. She was preceded in death by her husband Juan Contreras and brother Arsenio Lopez. Annie was a very religious woman dedicated to the Lord, she put her family first, always had a smile on her beautiful face, a true social butterfly, she knew how to brighten up your day and never had a bad day. Annie adored her family and loved spending time with them. Annie is survived by children Guadalupe Contreras, Cathy Trujillo and husband John; grandchildren John F. Contreras, Crystal Trujillo, Jovonn Trujillo, Jonathan Trujillo; great-grandchildren Noah Trujillo and Joseph Beauchamp; sister Lupita Baca and husband Johnny and numerous relatives and friends. Annie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Visitation will take place at Garcia Mortuary ~ Chapel of Angels Wednesday, October 16, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm followed by a reciting of the Rosary at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, 562 Atrisco Dr SW, Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 9:00 am; Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers are Joseph Beauchamp, Guadalupe Contreras, John Trujillo, David Gonzales, Steve Chavez, Ray Sanchez, Jerry Moya, Sammy Molina and Jonathan Trujillo.
