Our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully in her home Thursday, December 10, 2015. Anna was born May 27, 1937 in Pena Blanca, NM. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren, going to the bingo, and playing her slot machines.
She was preceded in death by her husband Virgino Leyba; parents Vincente and Alvina Hurtado; brothers Jerry, Tony, and Arturo Hurtado; sister Theresa Hurtado.
Anna is survived by her children RoseAnn Pitts and husband George; Michael, Pauline, and Katrina. Her precious grandchildren Brian, Kristin, Erika, Michelle, Johnathan, Aaron, Brandon, and Justine; Sisters Alice Martinez and husband Gilbert; Theresa Sandoval and husband David: Vicky Bonney and Husband Bill: sister in law Emily Hurtado.
She will be loved and missed by her beloved pets Dwiggy, Bubba, Bubbles, TJ, Fluffy and the rest of her kitter cats.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015, from 4:00-6:00 pm, at the Carlisle Chapel.
Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm, with a prayer service at 7:00. Reception to follow.
