Anna Rita Roden

RODEN- Anna Rita Roden, 80, was born to Eternal Life on Thursday, August 7, 2008. She died unexpectedly during emergency surgery in South Bend, Indiana, while on a family trip through the Midwest. Mrs. Roden is preceded in death by her husband, Jim R. Roden Jr. She is survived by three children, Susan Marie Salazar of Albuquerque, Joseph James Roden of Orlando FL., and Father Edward Paul Roden-Lucero of El Paso, TX. She was a grandmother of 6 and great-grandmother of 3. Rita and Jim were founding members of Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Albuquerque, NM. They were also active in various lay ministries in the 1970's and 80's at Saint Charles Borromeo Parish. Mrs. Roden, like her husband, was a person of deep faith and intensely dedicated to her children and grandchildren. For over 50 years she supported various missionary charities and was known for her great kindness to neighbors and friends.
