Anthony R "Tony" Morris, was born on April 22, 1949. Tony passed away on April 2, 2017. Tony was born in St. Paul, MN to Robert Emmett Morris and Elaine Winifred.
The “midnight rambler” lost his courageous fight against cancer on April 2, 2017. Tony leaves behind his son’s Casey and Tyler Morris of Albuquerque; his dog Buddy; long time friends and caretakers Nancy Cabber, Kathy and Edward Bullard of Albuquerque.
Tony was a talented woodworker and craftsman. Loved to “tinker” at all times, he could fix anything. He was a walking Encyclopedia on all matters and became more of a genius once he got his smartphone.
He lived his life as a rambler, life was an adventure, but we would always have to “hold on a minute” before the big adventure would begin. He loved hopping freight trains in Minnesota, California and New Mexico. He was always on the fine line of genius vs. madness.
His family and friends already miss Tony. Memorial gathering, April 22, 2017 (Tony’s Birthday!) at Edward L. Romero Park, 310 Rossmoor SW, 11:00am to 1:00pm. Refreshments, donuts and cupcakes.
