Anthony Romero

Anthony M Romero passed away on September 13th, 2021 at the age of 50. He was born in Albuquerque New Mexico on December 7th, 1970 to parents Mark Romero and Judy Stenum. He was a family man, who loved spending time with his family, laughing, and drinking beer with his friends. He was married to his wife Renee for 22 years. Anthony was so proud of his kids and often talked about them to anyone who would take the time to listen. He loved baseball and enjoyed watching his kids play sports and coached the sport, as well as coaching football. Anthony was very proud of his three oldest grandboys, and gentle and loving with his granddaughter, his face would always light up when he saw his youngest grandson. Anthony referred to his family as his “tribe” and was happiest when he was with them.
Anthony was full of life, and it was always known when he was in the crowd. If he gave you a hard time, know that he loved you. He has a contagious laugh, and dedication and love for all his lifelong friends and family. He was a handyman who could fix anything but cars and was always ready to help or volunteer.
He is Preceded in death by his father, Mark Romero, Aunt Patricia Clockey, and Grandmother Esther Romero. He is survived by his wife, Renee Romero, Sons Jordan Garcia and wife Samantha, Ryan Romero and partner Adrianna Diaz, Matthew Romero and partner Jaye Vargas, and daughters Deandra Romero and partner Josh, and Monica Romero and husband Ralph, And Leanne Romero (the baby of them all), as Well as his mother, and Step-Father, Judy and Brian Stenum, and Step Mother Sylvia Romero, his brothers Ron Romero, Rick Barranca, and wife Susan, and Mark Romero and wife Victoria, In-laws Rey and Gerry Sandoval, Brother in Law Dave and wife Debbie, and his grandchildren Xavior, Isaiah, Elija, Milena and Anthony, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, lifelong friends, and friends he had met along the way through his kids sports and school.
Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, September 21st at 11:30 AM at Daniels Family Wyoming Chapel. Honorary Pallbearers are Paul Martinez, Herman Sanchez, Steve Kmatz, Josh Leathers, Kevin Moskola, and Antonio Vargas.
