Anthony William Sierra Sr.

It is with great sadness the family of Anthony William “Bill” Sierra, Sr. a lifelong resident of Corrales, announced his peaceful passing surrounded by his beautiful family.  He passed peacefully in the beautiful home he built for his family on Friday, December 30^th, 2022.

He will be lovingly remembered by his beautiful wife, Prescilla of 61 years; Daughter- Yvette Sierra, Son- Anthony William Sierra Jr. and wife, Sharon Sierra, Son- Joseph Sierra and wife, Catherine Sierra, and Daughter- Jennifer Gutierrez.  Grandchildren, Meagan Sierra, April Sierra, Michelle Sierra, Chris Sierra and wife Kendall, Sam Sierra and fiancé Michaela, Emma Sierra, John Gutierrez, and Michael Gutierrez; Great grandchildren-Ryland, Addilynn, Mya, Uriah, and Aria; Brother Morris Sierra and wife Sharon (Sherry) Sierra; and several beloved nieces and nephews.

Bill was proceeded in death by his parents, Monte and Christine Sierra, brothers- Michael Sierra and Fred Sierra.

Anyone who ever met him could not forget his infectious smile and his gift to gab!  His love for art, especially his “Sign Painting” oh how he loved it.  Numerous special events to include Super Bowl parties, wine tasting events, and concerts or anytime anyone had a special event, “You need a banner for that?” Most recently, his gift to gab landed him a job with Don Chalmers as a shuttle driver and greeter of 11 years, his family away from home.

Outside of being retired from Premier Distributing, he loved spending time fishing and camping in the Pecos with family or just sneaking away the two of them.  He enjoyed going to Laughlin and Las Vegas, anywhere mom wanted to go.  When he wasn’t picking up grandkids from school, or going to their games, you could find him out on the riding lawnmower.  His pride and joy, the big, beautiful home he built for his family.

Rosary and funeral mass will be celebrated at San Ysidro Catholic Church in Corrales on Friday, January 20^th at 9:30am with a reception to follow.

In Lieu of flowers family request any memorial contributions be made to your charity of choice in memory of Bill Sierra.
