Villanueva, Antonia M. Our loving Antonia �Toni-Ann� Villanueva, age 78, joined our Lord in Heaven on Tuesday, September 24, 2013; in her home in Rio Rancho, NM. She was born on December 6, 1934 in Belen, NM to Erasmo and Victoriana Moya. On March 4, 1971, Antonia married Reuban Villanueva, who preceded her death on November 9, 2006. Also preceding in death are her son-in-law, Rudolfo Hernandez; and her two grandchildren, Thomas and Jonathon Barnhill. Surviving are her children and spouses, Victoria and John Zanin of Albuquerque, NM; Curtis Barnhill of Albuquerque, NM; Troy and Dana Barnhill of Rio Rancho, NM; Derek Barnhill of Rio Rancho, NM; and Matthew and Heather Villanueva of Phoenix, AZ. Also surviving are her 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, Angelica Payne, Carlos Hernandez, Antonia Litts, Candee Hernandez, Rhonda Barnhill, Curtis Barnhill, Jared Barnhill, Tavish Barnhill, Trevin Barnhill, Lauren Barnhill, Jordan Barnhill, Bradley Barnhill, Joshua Barnhill, Annabella Villanueva, Brenden Jackson, Kaidence Puckett, Houston Payne, Deja Hernandez, Andrew Litts, Tyler Barnhill, Rayelle Barnhill, Tyler Silva, Bailey Silva, and Gracie Barnhill. Antonia was a proud United States Navy Veteran. In her civilian life she worked as an administrative professional at Sandia National Laboratories, where she met the love of her life Reuban Villanueva. She was a devoted Catholic Christian a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Rio Rancho, NM. Antonia was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a strong woman with a great sense of humor. Antonia believed there was good in everyone, and avidly prayed the rosary daily. She was very organized, enjoyed reading mysteries, playing Scrabble, and she loved anything the color pink. Antonia was an amazing cook, who loved seafood, New Mexico red chili and biscochitos. She believed her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her greatest legacy. Antonia's beauty and smile lit up the room, and was adored as the matriarch of our family. Most importantly she devoted her life to God, cherished her church, and lived as an admirable woman and Catholic Christian. Family and friends are welcome to recite the Rosary at 2:30 P.M. and Celebrate the Mass 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Rio Rancho, NM.
