Antonio J Trujillo

Trujillo, Antonio J. (Tony) Age 81, a long-time resident of Magdalena, NM died peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, August 26, 2013. He was born in Socorro, NM on September 5, 1931, to Manuel and Margaret (Pino) Trujillo. Tony suffered for many years from Alzheimer's Disease. He was well known for his "cowboy skills" and love of the Cowboy Way! He served his country in the United States Army. Tony worked on many ranches throughout his life. He was also employed by Grefco, he retired from the Magdalena Dormitory, drove school buses and served on the Magdalena School Board. He was extremely active in the Magdalena Old Timers Association and served as its President. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Gomez Trujillo; sons, James Trujillo and Leroy Trujillo; brother, Marcario Trujillo. Antonio is survived by son, Pat Trujillo; daughter, Denise Pino and her husband, Adrian; daughter, Marcella Peralta and her husband, Kenneth; daughter-in-law, Vida Trujillo; daughter-in-law, Juanita Vigil; brothers, Manuel, Joe, V. D., and Tommy Trujillo; sisters, Barbara Bowden, Cleo Latasa, and MaryAnn Lukesh; sister-in-law, Cora Gomez; grandchildren: Eva Stamper and husband, Jake; Angelica, Ambrosio and Patrick Trujillo; Mario Peralta; Lucas Cearley and companion, Jessica; Zachary and Anthony Trujillo; Heather Orozco and companion, Gino Otero; Kali Orozco and companion, John Sanchez; West Trujillo and wife, Destri; Cord Trujillo, and step-grandson, Michael Erwin; great grandchildren: Gunner Stamper, Chance Cearley, Andy, Isiah & Felicity Otero, Ryder Orozco-Sanchez, and Westie Rose Trujillo. Rosary to be recited on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 10:00 am at the St. Mary Magdalene Church in Magdalena. Celebration of the Mass of Resurrection will be on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 10:30 am at St. Mary Magdalene with Father Robert Jeffers as Celebrant. Burial will be in the Magdalena Cemetery with military honors. Pallbearers are Lucas Cearley, Anthony Pino, Zach Pino, West Trujillo, Ambrosio Trujillo, Patrick Trujillo and Mario Peralta.
