Antonio Diaz Villa

Villa, Antonio Diaz Age 90, a resident of Rio Rancho, NM passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bennie Villa; daughter, Marianne Heyman; great grandson, David Sanchez; 2 sisters; 5 brothers. Antonio is survived by his children, Marcella Cresap and husband, Tom of Eagle River, AK, Sylvia Villa-Davis and husband, James of Thornton, CO, Tony Villa and wife, Rita of Albuquerque, NM, Priscilla West and husband, Doug of Texarkana, TX, Joann Villa and husband, Rene Henrard of Rio Rancho, NM, Tim Villa and wife, Rhonda of Tucson, AZ; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Jose Villa and wife Clare of La Villita, NM, Mike Villa of Seattle, WA; numerous nieces and nephews. Antonio was born in Clovis, NM on July 30, 1922, to Incarnacion and Luz Villa (Diaz). He served his country in the US Army, Red Arrow Division, during World War II. He retired from civil service after 30 years at Canon Air Force Base. He was a member of the VFW and proud of being a Veteran.The Rosary will be recited at 10:00 am, with the Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 10:30 am, Thursday, July 25, 2013 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM. Interment will take place at 1:30 pm, at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 North Guadalupe Street, Santa Fe, NM. Pallbearers will be Ron Rogers, James Davis, Michael Gallegos, Patrick Sanchez, Richard Villa, Jim Dalton. Antonio will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
