Age 47, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018. He was born in Socorro, NM on November 30, 1970, to Eddie  and Nora  Montoya. loved to hunt, fish, enjoyed watching movies, he had a generous heart, worked with his hands, always thinking of others, always laughing and a happy person.

Arkie is survived by sister, Olivia Vicente of Magdalena, NM, mother, Nora Montoya, father, Eddie  Nelson, Sr., brother, Calvin L. Nelson, brother, Bruce L. Nelson, brother, Eddie J. Nelson, Jr., sister, Angelique Brown, brother, Collier J. Nelson, sister, Jeneya Chavez, step-daughter, Raelene Chapo, step-son, Kevin Chapo, step-son, Ferrell Chapo, son, Arquis Nelson, daughter, Neva Nelson, granddaughter, Karolina Chapo, grandson, Pablo Julian Nelson, Bolson Guerro, Vern Pino, Sr., Vern Pino, Jr., Randall Chavez, Cisco Padilla, Brandon Mansell, Michael Pino, Matthew Edwards, Johnny Montoya, Johnathan Vicente .

Service will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018, 10:00 am, at Alamo Miracle Church, Alamo, New Mexico.  Interment to follow at Pino Cemetery Alamo NM , .
