Armand Alessandrone, Jr.

Armand Alessandrone Jr., age 63, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014. Born and raised in Waterbury, CT, Armand and his wife relocated to New Mexico where they raised their four girls. In 2010, Armand retired from PNM after 31 years of service and, with his wife moved to the mountains of Chama, NM. He was light-hearted, charismatic, and had a zest for life. He enjoyed numerous interests, all of which he pursued with passion. Armand was very active and throughout his lifetime he finished several full and half marathons. He loved cooking homemade Italian food and making wine with his friends and family. He cherished spending time with his family and loved to laugh. He will be remembered as a kind, loving, and exceptional man. He was preceeded in death by his parents, Mary and Armand Alessandrone Sr; brother, Ernest Alessandrone; and sister, Rosemarie DeSocio. Armand is survived by wife Joanne Alessandrone; his children, Corinne Maynes and husband Raymond; Audra Gonzales and husband Richard; Stephanie Alessandrone, and Kristina Alessandrone; his precious grandchildren, Aaron Earle, Jaid Maestas and Eric, Lucas Earle, Tierra Earle, Tristan Gonzales, and Saryn Gonzales; one great- granddaughter Layla Maestas. Also surviving are his sisters, Angela Donovan and husband Jerry; Annette Williams and husband David; mother in law, Agnes Robert; sisters in law, Sharon Mansfield and husband Richard; Joyce True and husband Howard; and Gail Corriveau and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Armand will be greatly missed by his loving family and those whose hearts he touched.
