Arthur Art"" Knowlton

Knowlton - Arthur "Art" Knowlton, 61, passed away April 20, 2009. He was born on September 16, 1947 to Frances and Arthur Knowlton, in Daytona Beach, Florida. Art is survived by his wife of 34 years, Carol Knowlton; mother, Frances Branch, of West Hartford, CT; two children, Sheri and her husband, Dr. Paul Hudak, of Cross Roads, TX, and Tracy Knowlton and Lawrence Armijo, of Belen; three special children - Mitch, Rilee, and Blaine who called him Grandpa; sisters-in-law, Julie Goode and husband Stanley, of Wallingford, CT, Pam Brylanski and her husband Joe, of Abilene, TX; mother-in-law, Josie Jimmo, of Belfast, ME; niece, Laurene and husband David Gade, of Wallingford, CT. He leaves behind close friends Levi Venegas and Marie, Mike, Lisa and David Singer. He has been a resident of Albuquerque since June of 1978. Art had worked for various Bell Tele-Communication Groups for 40 years after discharge from the Army. He was involved with the NM Trout Fishing Association and the Telephone Pioneers. He was an avid outdoorsman. Art's true loves were his family and fly fishing. He was devoted to his wife and children and loved spending time with them. Art closely followed NHL hockey and NASCAR and was a season ticket holder for the NM Scorpions. Special thanks to Dr. Dennie Jones for his exceptional care and encouragement.
