ARTHUR J. KROPP, JR. was born at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri on September 14, 1942 to Arthur J. Kropp, Sr. and Alice Marie Dornback Kropp. He passed away at Lovelace Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico on August 10, 2014. Art lived a full life, having traveled the world as a child of a military family and during his own military service. After graduating from high school in Heidelberg, Germany, he was inducted into the Army by his father. He served as a Medic and a Physician�s Assistant at Walter Reed Hospital in the early 1970�s. Art was involved with the development and operation of an early heart‐lung machine. After his military service, he worked as a Physician�s Assistant for surgeons in Louisiana and Wisconsin. After retiring from medicine, Art worked for Tri Clover in Kenosha, Wisconsin until his retirement, when he moved to Albuquerque. Art enjoyed hunting, fishing, target shooting, stamp and coin collecting. He was a proud member of the NRA and the American Legion. Most importantly, Art was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. The positive impact he had on those around him will not soon be forgotten. Arthur J. Kropp, Jr. is survived by his wife of 22 years Eve (LaCombe‐Hamsing) Kropp. He is also survived by his brother Stephen Kropp, son Lee Kropp, daughter Jackie Kropp, daughter Jorie Gnoitcynski, son Michael Hamsing, and six grandchildren, Michael, Nicole, Rebecca, Corianne, John Arthur and Jody. He was preceded in death by his parents. The Rosary and Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Strong-Thorne Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque.
