Arthur Z. Tafoya

Tafoya, Arthur Z. Loving father, grandfather and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior Sunday, October 14, 2012 at the age of 91. He was born in Kelly, NM to Celso and Piedad. Arthur was a proud Veteran who bravely served in WWII. Arthur adored his family and loved spending time with them. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Josie and granddaughter, Patricia Tafoya. Arthur is survived by his loving children, Nelda Gallegos, Gilbert Tafoya, Arthur Tafoya and wife Maxine, Larry J. Tafoya and wife Margaret; grandchildren, Angela, Gilbert, Marcus and Michael Tafoya and Kristy Chavez and husband Chris; great-grandchildren, Isaiah and Christopher Chavez; special friend, Leonard Ayala; and numerous other extended family and friends. All Services will take place at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 820 Broadway Blvd SE, Visitation will be Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm followed by a reciting of the Rosary at 6:30 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 10:00 am; Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
