Arthur Troum

TROUM - Arthur Troum, 83, passed away on June 20, 2011. He was born September 19, 1927 in New York City to Wolf and Sadie (Wohlfeld) Troum. Arthur was a beloved husband to Joyce Troum, father and grandfather. He is survived by seven children, Judy Gayle Kilpatrick, Joy Lee DeRanieri, William Troum, Donna Marcia Brown (George), Deborah Lynn Pfeiffer-Traum (Alan), Beth Ann Troum, and Lee James Stocker (Aili Jokela); three grandchildren, Marc & Daniel Brown and Nathan Pfeiffer-Traum. Arthur graduated from the Brooklyn Technical High school, served in the US Army in the Medical Corp and earned a degree in chemical engineering from the University of New Mexico. He worked for over 34 years at Sandia National Laboratories. He has been an Albuquerque resident and member of Congregation Albert, where he was very active for many years, since 1948. A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 23, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at Fairview Memorial Park on Yale Avenue. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the Presbyterian Hospice In-Patient Unit at Kaseman Hospital for their compassion and care of both Arthur and the family.
