Gonzalez, Arturo Antonio

Arturo Antonio Gonzalez, 70, was called home to our Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 21, 2018, with his loving family at his side. He was born on June 26, 1947 to Arturo and Sara Estella (Morales) of El Paso, TX. He graduated from Cathedral High School in El Paso and then earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry. Mr. Gonzalez entered the Federal Bureau of Investigation in 1971 and served as a Supervisor Special Agent until his retirement in 2001. His life revolved around his family and friends and found great joy in doting on his grandchildren.

Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his three children: Arturo E. Gonzalez and wife, Suzanne, of Albuquerque, NM, Ruben A. Gonzalez and wife, Serena, of Phoenix, AZ, and Marisa Griego and husband, Andrew, of Albuquerque, NM; six grandchildren, Arturo J. Gonzalez, Emma J. Gonzalez, Michael R. Gonzalez, Mateo R. Gonzalez, Isabella G. Gonzalez and Sofia A. Griego; sisters, Nora Alicia Rojas and Rosa Maria Perez; and mother of his children, Edina Gonzalez.

The Rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Risen Savior Catholic Community, 7701 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque. The Mass of Christian Burial and Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 29, 2018, also at Risen Savior Catholic Community. Inurnment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho.
