Ascension Sena Martinez

Martinez, Ascension Sena Age 94, life-long resident of Alameda/North Valley, and resident of Santa Fe for the past eight years, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 28, 2013. She is survived by her only child, Manuel Raymond and wife Elaine Ortiz Martinez of Santa Fe; two grandsons, Andrew Martinez of Santa Fe, and Vincent Martinez and wife Lilianna Koledin of Seattle, WA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nevarez Martinez; parents, Rafael H. Sena and Abundia Sanchez Sena; sister, Carmelita Serna; brothers, Tomas, Jose, Andres, and Rafael P. Sena. Before moving to Santa Fe, she was a member of The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. She was also a member of Las Carmelitas Catholic Organization and The Blue Army of Our Lady of Fatima. She enjoyed attending bible classes, gardening, and her needlecrafts. A Rosary will be recited Monday, March 4, 2013 at 8 o'clock am at The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Funeral Mass to follow at 9 o'clock am. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7500 Paseo Del Norte NE, Albuquerque, NM.
