Augustina Garibay

Garibay, Augustina "Tia" Age 81, beloved sister, aunt, and friend, was embraced by the Lord and taken to her heavenly home, Monday, February 11, 2013. She was a life long resident of Albuquerque, and member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her nephews, Daniels Valdez, Jr. and Gabriel "Gabe" Garcia. Augustina is survived by her loving sisters, Jessie Valdez and husband Daniel, Toni Garcia and husband Juan; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; and many friends. Tia will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be Friday, February 15, 2013 from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 9502 Fourth St., NW, where a Rosary will be recited at 8:00 a.m. and then followed by the Service of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be at Mount Carmel Cemetery (Ranchitos on Edith). Casket Bearers will be Jesus Garcia, Jose Garcia, Anthony Garcia Jr., Adrian Garcia, Mark Garcia and Aaron Anderson. Honorary Bearer will be Harry Vigil.
