Aurora Chavez

Aurora Chavez (70) of Polvadera, NM went to her everlasting home Thursday December 17, 2020 at the age of 70. Aurora was born to Simon Flores Sr. and Aurora Villa Flores on April 16th, 1950 in Mesilla, NM. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Aurora worked for eagle piture for almost 20 years.  She loved to cook for her family and enjoyed the casino and her soap operas.  She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Leonardo Chavez, and daughter Marcella Rico. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Tomas Chavez, daughters, Helen M. Chavez and Adela Chavez, and her 10 grandchildren, Meradeth Montoya, Melody Chavez, Symphony Rico, David Rico II, Bravlio Rico, Tommy Chavez, Brandon Chavez, Star Burgos, Shyla Burgos, and Destiny Chavez, as well as 8 great grandchildren. A private graveside service will take place on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 9:30 am at the Polvadera Catholic Cemetery, Polvadera, New Mexico. Pallbearers will be Randy Montoya, Carlos Vazquez, Brandon Chavez, and David Chavez.
