Aurora L. Martinez

Aurora L. Martinez passed away on May 18, 2009 at her home in Grants, she was 92. She was born on April 10, 1917 in Ojo Sarco, New Mexico to Adolfo Lopez and Vidalita Maestas Lopez. Ms. Martinez was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church. She is survived by six sons; Joe Martinez and his wife Maria of Albuquerque, Mike Martinez and his wife Viola of Grants, Ernest Martinez and his wife Josie of Edgewood, Louie Martinez and his wife Phyllis of Espanola, Freddie Martinez and his wife Geri of Albuquerque, and Johnny Martinez and his wife Molly of Espanola. Three daughters; Ernestine Duran and her husband Rudy of Minturn, CO., Bernice Ramirez and her husband Fernando of Grants, and Lucy Ramirez and her husband George of Albuquerque. Daughter in law; Donna Tallbert. One brother; Adolfo Lopez Jr. and his wife Sarita of Chamisal, NM. Along with twenty-nine grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Silviano Martinez in November, 1998, Also preceded by three sons; Ray Martinez, Gilbert Martinez, and Elmer Martinez. One granddaughter; Michelle Hyland, and One grandson; Ray Martinez Jr. Her Parents, One brother; Vergilio Lopez. Two sisters; Cornelia Sandoval and Olivama Lopez. Pallbearers include; David Ramirez, Chris Martinez, Erick Martinez, Henry Martinez, Toby Ramirez, John Martinez, Fernando Ramirez, and George Ramirez.
