Lucero, Azucena F. Azucena Lucero, 92, entered in to eternal rest on Saturday, February 4, 2012. She was born July 15, 1920 in Columbus, New Mexico. Azucena was preceded in death by her husband Mike; children, Steve and Anna Lourdes. She is survived by grandchildren, James Jaramillo, Walter Anthoni Sullins and wife Shanna, great-grandchildren Lacey, Shaylee, Jena, Aj, Taylor, Payten, and Ashlynn, numerous nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends and loved ones. "Ma Sue enjoyed cooking and had a huge heart that she hid behind her feisty character. Relatives and friends may gather at Risen Savior Catholic Community, 7701 Wyoming for Rosary on Wednesday morning February 8, 2012 at 9:30 am, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Azucena��?�s family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Albuquerque Heights Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center for the exceptional care Ma Sue received throughout her stay.
