Barbara L. Abbin

ABBIIN- Barbara L. Abbin. Our beloved Barbara Lorraine Abbin, 43, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2009, surrounded by her family. Barbara was born on September 20, 1965, the daughter of Thomas and Elenore Abbin. She was the first of three siblings. She graduated from Del Norte High School in 1982. Barbara was a caregiver for her grandmother, Violet Lively, and also for her aunt, Rosemary McCafferty. Barbara was the sweetest, most living, and caring person anyone could ever meet. She always showed genuine compassion with an empathetic understanding towards everyone that crossed her path. She loved her daughter with a passion that was nearly impossible to comprehend. Her death, which was caused by an extremely aggressive form of pancreatic cancer, was a devastating shock to us all and she will be dearly missed. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Tracy, of Albuquerque, NM; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Dianne Abbin, of Rio Rancho, NM; sister, Brenda Repichowski, of Albuquerque, NM; grandmother, Violet Lovely, of Albuquerque, NM; uncles, Eugene McCafferty and Joe Abbin; nephews, Zachary Abbin and Nicholas Repichowski of Albuquerque, NM; nieces, Alexandra Abbin and Kristen Repichowski, of Albuquerque, NM; cousins, Joey and Trish Abbin, Harley Abbin, and Stacye McCafferty of Albuquerque, NM; second cousin, Allison Thorsgaard of Albuquerque, NM. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Elenore Abbin.
