Barbara Jean Bowker

Bowker, Barbara Jean 43, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 18, 2012 in Socorro, NM. She was born in Manchester, CT on May 2, 1969 to Robert and Elizabeth (Brown) Bowker. Barbara was a resident of Datil, NM for the past 15 years. Her love for horses started when she was growing up in Connecticut and she has been raising and training horses ever since. She was a member of the ASPCA and she was an alternate for the US Olympic Equestrian Team for the 86 Olympics. Barbara is survived by her loving parents; her devoted daughter, Desiree Dawn Blakemore; her brother, Jeffrey A. Bowker; her fiancé&, Todd D. Snipes and many other loving relatives and friends. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 21, 2012 from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Socorro Chapel , 309 Garfield St, Socorro.
