Barbara Ann Brokaw

Brokaw, Barbara Age 61, passed away Friday, September 6, 2013. She was born in Chicago, IL on October 4, 1951 to Andrew and Shirley Demos. Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Randy J. Brokaw their children Jami Jordan Brokaw and Andrea Lee Brokaw; grandchildren Amelia and Payton Brokaw, her brother Martin Christ Demos, and her father Andrew Christ Demos. Barbara worked as an Extension Agent for NMSU as a home economist and 4-H agent. She loved working with kids and families to teach them about practical life. She brought her creative and loving self to her work and is remembered by those she worked with. Her family and friends remember her as fun loving, caring, and spunky. In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family requests donations to the Barbara Brokaw Home Economy Scholarship Fund. This fund is a scholarship through NMSU for 4-H members from 9-19 years old to attend home economy school programs.
