Our beloved mother, grandmother and a longtime resident of Bernalillo, New Mexico, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 with her family by her side. She was born January 27, 1945 in Washington, DC to Robert and Mae Arline Somers. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Cordova; daughter, LouAnne Blackford. She is survived by her children, Nancy Meredith of Gypsum, CO, Bobbie Blackford of Flagstaff, AZ, Raymond Perez and girlfriend Heather of Rio Rancho, NM; Lina Alvarez and husband John of Rio Rancho, NM, 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Mike Somers of Northridge, CA; sister, Patricia Buell from Grants Pass, OR. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM.
