Beate Hitzler

Beate Alide Hitzler, a much beloved mother, grandmother and friend completed her life journey on December 12, 2020. Beate was born on October 29, 1940 in Bad Nauheim Germany. She left Germany at age 18 to accept a position in the U.K., a year later another position in Paris, France, and  finally a position in the U.S. She enthusiastically explored each country and immersed herself in the culture making lifelong friends along the way. She remained a bold and intrepid traveler and adventurer throughout her life. Beate also was a passionate supporter of Peanut Butter & Jelly (an Early Intervention Provider Agency) serving  on their Board of Directors. 

Beate is survived by her daughter Christina Beggs, Christina’s husband Steven Beggs, grandchildren Samuel and Ava, as well as son Jurgen Willis and partner Michelle Bundoc.

Beate will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
