Beatrice Terry Herrera

HERRERA - Beatrice Terry Herrera, 75, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2011 in Albuquerque, NM. Bea was born on January 1, 1936 in Polvadera, NM to Serafin and Petronila Padilla. She is survived by her loving husband, Miguel Herrera; her devoted children, Victor Joseph Herrera; Michael Steven Herrera Jr. and companion, Josette Chavez; Bernice Montoya and husband, Tony; her daughter-in-law, Liz Lucero; her grandchildren, Delicia; Christopher and wife, Erika; Jeremy and wife, Stephanie; Mireya; Lissa; Victor Lee; Rachel and partner, Amanda; Lianne, and Joseph; her great grandchildren, Janisa; Maritza; Jayraina; Shayanna; Jessenia; Ymaila; Trinity; and Diego; her brothers, Joe Padilla and wife, Helen; Gabriel Padilla; and Valentine Padilla and wife, Tillie; her sisters, Virginia Ulibarri; and Esperenza Armola and husband, Raymond; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bea was a lifelong resident of Polvadera and a member of the San Lorenzo Catholic Church. She enjoyed being a Mayordomos for the church. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters and the Legion of Mary but her passion was going on pilgrimages. She loved cooking, baking, and planting in her garden. Bea loved to visit casinos, camping, and fishing, but most of all she loved just spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and three sisters. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro, NM followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 9:00 am at The San Lorenzo Catholic Church in Polvadera, NM with Father Andrew Pavlak as Celebrant. Interment will be in the Polvadera Cemetery. Pallbearers are Christopher Montoya, Jeremy Herrera, Victor Lee Herrera, Joseph Herrera, Rachel Herrera, and Lianne Herrera. Honorary Pallbearer is Diego Herrera.
