PORCHER - Ben Ellis Porcher, Jr., 73, the Lord welcomed Ben Ellis Porcher, Jr. into his arms Friday, November 20, 2009. Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Counselor, Mentor and Friend. All who knew Ben knew him to be a man of conviction, strength, and honor. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Wanda Webb Porcher; and by his 3 children, Devon Curry, Shari Harper and Trey Porcher, and their families. He is survived by his 7 grandchildren, Shaun and Phillip Curry; Sarah and Benton Harper, and Maggie, Zachary and Aidan Porcher. He is also survived by a sister, Candace Debus and her family as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
