Benjamin R. Medley March 14, 1956 - January 31, 2010 Benjamin (Ben) R. Medley, 53 went to his eternal home on Sunday, January 31, 2010. Ben was born on March 14, 1956 to N. Jane (Evans) Medley and the late Robert I Medley in Steubenville, OH. Ben loved Steubenville “Big Red” Football and was proud to be a part of the team during his high school years. After high school, he attended Kenyon College where he played football, graduating from Kenyon in 1978. Ben was also an avid golfer and enjoyed playing golf with his friends and business associates. Ben was preceded in death by his father, Robert I. Medley in 2007. Surviving are his wife, Brenda Medley of Farmington; mother, N. Jane Medley of Steubenville; one brother, Dr. Mike Medley and wife Debra of Harrisonburg, VA., one sister, Melinda Henceroth and husband Dale of Lisbon, OH; seven nieces and nephews, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by very special friends Randall, Judy and Kayla Hale. Memorial gifts may be made to the N. Jane and Robert I. Medley Scholarship Fund at Steubenville High School, 420 N.
