Bernice E. Galler

Galler- Bernice E. Galler, 90, passed away on April 24, 2011. Bernice was preceded in death by her loving husband, Stephen J. Galler in 1993; stepson, John Galler and brother, Walter Shelenski. She is survived by her stepchildren, Stephen G. Galler, Judy Dillin, Mary Boyce; stepdaughter in law, Aurea; grandchildren, Kira and Brogan Dillin; nieces, Patti Anne Merkovitch, Jo Ann Griffith, Lou Ann Geldon; and nephews, James Shelenski, Gary Shelenski; and extended family. Special thank you you to Donna Stabler a great friend, and caregiver. Bernice enjoyed volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity and supported many local charities. She also enjoyed quilting, doll making and making doll clothes. Bernice was an active member of Prince of Peace Catholic Community Church. Family and friends will miss Bernice’s kindness, sense of humor and independent nature. Rosary will be Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 9:30 am with a Mass at 10:00 am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 12500 Carmel NE. Final placement will be at Sunset Memorial Park alongside Stephen at a later date. In Lieu of flowers please make donations to Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
