Bert D. Loring

Loring, Bert D Age 84, passed away Monday, June 4, 2012. He was born in Amarillo, TX on May 25, 1928, to Jewell and Tina Loring. Bert married the love of his life Jo on June 8, 1947 in Winslow, AZ. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for 39 years, retiring in 1987 in Newton, KS. He and Jo then moved to Rio Rancho where they have lived for the last 24 years. Bert was also an active Mason. Bert is survived by his wife, Jo Loring of Rio Rancho, NM, son; George E. Loring and wife, Carol, of Burton, KS; three grandchildren, Marcus, Leila Jo and Anna Marie; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Frances Juandell Carr of Topeka, KS, and Anita Mantooth and husband, Alvin, of Granbury, TX. A visitation will be held Saturday, June 9, 2012 from 12:00 -1:00 PM with the Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 PM at Daniels Family Funeral Services Sara Road Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE.
