Bessie Jaramillo

Bessie Jaramillo age 82, long-time resident of Corrales, NM was called home to be with our Lord on October 3, 2021. 

Bessie is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Celso Jaramillo. Children Dennis Jaramillo, Rudy and wife Cindy Jaramillo, Pat and husband Ted Sanchez, Liza Montano, Debbie Saavedra and boyfriend Raul. Grandchildren; Teddy Sanchez, Erika Jaramillo, Adam Sanchez, Joseph Jaramillo, Michelle Romero, Alexandra Gomez, Theresa Jaramillo, Bessie Gomez, Jamie Chavez, Matthew Jaramillo and Kayla Sanchez. Brother Chris Lucero, Sisters Dolores Granados, Lucille Trejo and Ruth Martinez as well as 38 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, God children and many more loved ones. 

Bessie was preceded in death by her mother and father, Felipita and Pablo Lucero, daughter Georgia Jaramillo, son-in-law, Michael Saavedra, daughter-in-law, Loretta Jaramillo. Brother, Alex Lucero, sisters, Viola Lucero and Mary Duran. 

Bessie was a wonderful mother, an extraordinary cook and baker who made room for everyone at her table of plenty. She was a dedicated grandmother to eleven grandchildren. If they ever needed anything there was nothing, she wouldn’t do for them. She had a big heart and was quick, smart, witty, and hilarious. Bessie taught her family how to live and love in a way that will continue on in the Jaramillo home forever.

Pallbearers- Teddy Sanchez, Adam Sanchez, Joseph Jaramillo, Matthew Jaramillo, Josef Sanchez and Nikili Bowyer. Honorary Pallbearers- Pablo Montoya, Carlos Romero, Isaiah Jaramillo, Diego Sanchez, Noah Jaramillo, Damacio Aleman, Jeremiah Jaramillo, Angelo Bowyer, Julian Chavez, Donavan Hernandez and Adhemar Sanchez.

Services will be held at San Ysidro Parish in Corrales, N.M. A Rosary will be recited on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 6:00 pm. A Mass will be held on Tuesday October 19, 2021 at 10:00 A.M, with an Interment to follow at San Ysidro Cemetery.
