Age 90, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017. She was born in Albuquerque, NM on January 21, 1927, to Manuel and Margarita Martinez.
She was preceded in death by her husband after 60 years, Albert Saavedra.
Bessie is survived by daughters: Diana Martinez and husband Danny, Joanna Rael, Alberta Crespin and husband Margarito, Dr. Elizabeth Saavedra; brother, Joseph Martinez and wife Esther; sister, Adele Martinez; grandchildren: Daniel, Tanya, Melissa Martinez, Jerry Rael, Christine Vigil, Elizabeth Rael, Albert, Bryan, and Cristina Margarita Crespin; eight great grandchildren.
Rosary to be recited on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at 9:30 am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave NE, Albuquerque.
Following with the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am. Burial will take place at San Jose Cemetery Albuquerque, following service.
Pallbearers will be: Jerry Rael, Albert Crespin, Bryan Crespin, Daniel Martinez, Joe Moya and Stephen Romero.
Bessie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
