Betty Lou Koehler, age 81, passed away Monday, March 8, 2021. She was born in Davenport, IA on October 29, 1939, to Chester Alton Parker and and Vera Iverson Parker. She graduated from Central High School in Davenport, IA, class of 1968. Betty Lou married the love of her life, Karen (Butch) K. Koehler, in Dubuque, IA in 1970. She was a bookkeeper, CNA for 18 years. She enjoyed scrapbooking, crocheting, and Bible Studies. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho, Christian Women's Club, Child Evangelism Fellowship, and Celebrate Recovery. She was involved with Compassion for Caregivers, Food Pantry and Missions.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Vera Parker; loving husband, Karen (Butch) K. Koehler; brother, Jack Duane Parker; and son, Daniel Scott Graham.
Betty is survived by her son, Scott James Graham of Rio Rancho, NM; daughter, Tracie Campbell of Rio Rancho, NM; son, Fred Alton (Jennifer) Koehler of Two Harbors, Minnesota; Susan Marie(Keith) Bessette of Clovis, NM; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren, and sister, Sandra Sue Bixby of Davenport, Iowa.
Memorial Service will be held Friday, March 12, 2021, 2:00 pm, First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho, 3906 19th Ave SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Betty 's honor to First Baptist Church in Rio Rancho, NM.
