Funeral services for Betty S. Lee, 74, will be 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 20, at Cope Memorial Chapel, Gallup. The Rev. Mark Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in Rehoboth Cemetery. Lee died Dec. 16, 2010, in Albuquerque. She was born April 3, 1936, in Rehoboth. Lee was self-employed, was a silversmith, homemaker, rancher and community volunteer. Survivors include her sons, Albert Ration of Kirtland, Larry Lee of Ramah, Harry Lee Jr. of Yatahey, Harold Lee of Iyanbito; daughters, Grace Yazzie of Vanderwagen, Selma Chee of Iyanbito, Mitzie Begay of Coyote Canyon, Laverne Lee of Iyanbito, Lorena Wilson of Albuquerque; brothers, Herbert Saunders of Breadsprings, James Saunders of Rio Rancho; sisters, Ada Saunders of Iyanbito, Dorothy Lee of Iyanbito, Marjorie Saunders of Iyanbito; 37 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren. Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee Sr.; sons, Harrison Lee, Junior Lee; brothers, Jay Saunders, Delbert Saunders, Gilbert Saunders, Benjamin Saunders. Pallbearers will be family members. The family will receive relatives and friends at Iyanbito Chapter House, following services.
