Betty M. Martin

Betty Martin, longtime resident of Aztec, went to be with her heavenly Father on Sunday, June 19, 2011. She had reported being 29 years of age for 55 years. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Wilda Jean Martin; and two husbands. Betty is survived by her son, Charles A. Martin, and wife, Helen, of Bloomfield, two granddaughters; two great-granddaughters; and a great-grandson. There are many purporting to be "sons," "daughters," "grandsons and granddaughters" and "great-grandsons and great-granddaughters" throughout the tri-city area. She was a gift to everyone and had a heart of gold. She never met a stranger. She could always find a joke to tell. Her smile and laughter would light up any room. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Charles and Helen Martin would like to convey a special thank you to the entire Steve Smouse family for their continued love and support, and the love and support they always gave "Mom."
