Betty J. McLelland

Betty J. McLelland, age 86, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2016, surrounded by her family. She was born on June 20, 1929 in Decatur, Texas to Gertrude Moser and Bryson Williamson. Betty was preceded in death by her two sons, Steve and Chris. She is survived by her husband, Vernroy Ahnin; son, Mike McLelland; grandsons, Shawn McLelland and wife, Ashley, Jeremiah McLelland and wife, Andrea; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Carter and Aubrey McLelland; and extended family. Betty was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whom was truly cherished by her family. She was an avid pool player, enjoyed feeding the hummingbirds that would visit her yard, and a night out with her husband at the Solo Club.
A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2016, 3:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N. Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501.
