Betty Ann Melton

Betty was born in Alfred, NY and grew up with her parents, brother, and sister. After graduation, she finished Secretarial school in Rochester, NY. She moved to Boca Raton FL, where she worked for the Army Air Corps, and she met her husband, Bob. They were married in 1945 and spent 60 years together. Betty received her AA degree from MJC in 1968. She was an avid golfer and made a hole in one! She played piano, taught Sunday school, could knit, sew, crochet, needle point and upholster. Betty made everything for her family!  had lots of friends whom she played bridge with and quilted with. She was a loving wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother. Betty will be interred at the VA cemetery in Tampa, FL, with Bob.

She will be greatly missed.
