Betty Minero

Minero, Betty "Betty Boop" "Grammy" Age 89, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014. There are countless others that were adopted by Grammy at her favorite hangout, the Barelas Coffee House. Always with a warm smile and bright eyes, you could find her sitting at her favorite table, 9A or at the counter eating honey or drinking half and half. She swore by her eagle brand milk to keep her healthy. Mary is survived by her husband, Ambrosio Minero; children, Betty Jo Martin and husband, Alvin, Gloria Gutierrez, Geraldine Lucero and Michael Gonzales; grandchildren, Marie, Jose Martinez, Jacqueline Martin, Cindy Trujillo and husband, Chris, Mandy Romero, Derek, Ernest Lucero and wife, Raquel, Gregory Lucero and wife, Antoinette; great grandchildren, Celeste, Kristina, Jazmyn, Jose, Alexis, Brandy, Selena, Cisco, Damian, Derrick, James, Alyssa, Aaron, Dominic, Raeana, Mariah, and Jacob who preceded Grammy on July 11, and is waiting to greet her; and great great grandchild, Dean. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
