Betty E Paine

Paine, Betty E Age 71 and a resident of Socorro, passed away Friday, March 7, 2014 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born in Gallup, NM on August 12, 1942 to John and Lexie (Beaty) Adams. Betty grew up in Albuquerque and graduated from Valley High School. She worked as a nurse's aide at the Presbyterian Hospital for a couple of years and moved to Socorro, NM after marrying Robert Paine in 1969. Betty enjoyed working puzzles and she was a member of the Relief Society at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Socorro. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, Roger Adams and Johnny Adams. Betty is survived by her husband of 44 years, Robert Paine; her sons, Matthew Paine; and Bruce Paine; one brother, Robert Adams; and her sister, Vickie Southall and husband, Ron. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1112 El Camino Real, Socorro with Bishop Mark Hoopes officiating. Interment to follow at the Socorro Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert D. Adams, Stacey Adams, Johnny L. Adams, Tom Grife, Connie Grife, and Sandra Bourquet.
