Betty Jo Ross, age 79, passed away on June 06, 2017, in Albuquerque, NM. Betty was born on April 10, 1938 in Claiborne, Louisiana to Joe and Rosetta Phillips. Betty attended Albuquerque High and retired from Sandia National Laboratories after working there for over 20 years. She enjoyed cooking and sewing and spending her time with her family. Ms. Ross will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her dearly.
She is survived by her daughter Shirley Aleman of Albuquerque, NM; her granddaughters Ebony Kolozsy and Chantelle Horton; her five great grandchildren; her brother Calvin Phillips and sisters Florence Mayberry and Flora Boxton.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, son Ray Campbell and brother Charles Mayberry.
