Bill Pop"" Chambers

CHAMBERS- Bill (Pops) Chambers, 85, passed away March 29, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mildred (Gar) Chambers; two children, Jerry Chambers and wife Paula, Judy Davis; two grandchildren, Samantha Lovato and husband Daniel Lovato, Scott Davis; one brother, Jim Chambers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chris and Gladys Chambers; one brother, Dick Chambers; one sister, Shirley Chambers. Bill was born July 18, 1925 to Chris and Gladys Chambers in Tonkawa, OK. He attended Deer Creek High School in Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. After the service he worked in the oil fiends as a supervisor. In Bill’s spare time he enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his granddaughter.
