Bill passed away on December 1, 2016 with his wife and two of his three sons at his bed side. He is survived by his wife Jeanette of 67 years, his three boys Dave, Mike, Jeff and daughter in-law Nola, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A career with Walgreen Drug Company brought Bill and Jeanette to Albuquerque in 1949 at the beginning of his 32 years with Walgreens. Working for Walgreens took Bill and his family to live in many states, Albuquerque, Missouri, Colorado, California, and Illinois where he initially retired. Retirement was short as Bill and Jeanette started a new journey together with La Quinta Hotels that eventually landed them back in Albuquerque. After retiring from La Quinta, Bill volunteered at the airport information desk and Assistance League of Albuquerque. Bill loved to play golf, building small wood working projects as well as repairing just about everything he could get his hands on. A celebration of life for Bill will be announced at a later date.
