Age 84, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018. He was born in Mountainair, NM on October 22, 1933, to James Allen and Mattie Eva Bell Montgomery.

Bill attended school in Claunch, NM. He was a jack of all trades throughout his lifetime. He worked construction, road grader, bus driver, and several other service related jobs. Bill loved being outdoors. He was an avid hunter, but his passion was fishing. He was also a Member of the Claunch Community Church in Claunch, NM.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Tracey, Alton, Leonard, and Charlie Montgomery; Many more loved ones.

Bill is survived by daughters, Beverly Shahrokh Nasab, Lynn Montoya both of Rio Rancho, NM; son, Charles Montgomery of Albuquerque, NM; 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews and so many loved ones.

Service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at 11:00 AM, Claunch Community Church, Interment to follow at Claunch Cemetery. Reception to follow Interment, all in Claunch, NM.

Huge thank you to all his loved ones, neighbors and all who touched his life, supported him during the time he was on this earth.
