With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Blanche Fleming, who departed this life on January 29th, at the age of 94. Blanche was a beacon of kindness, warmth, and strength, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Born on September 29th, 1930, in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Blanche was the devoted daughter of Luis Ricardo Acosta and Susana Ramos Garcia.
At 19, Blanche journeyed to Chicago, Illinois, USA, where she built a beautiful life. She proudly became a U.S. citizen and later married Donald J. Fleming, with whom she shared a long and happy marriage until his passing in 2008.
Throughout her life, Blanche was a loving and devoted mother to her five children—Blanche, Manuel, Judy, Irene, and Mary Lou, — demonstrating strength, perseverance, and an unwavering love for her family. She overcame life’s challenges with grace, always putting the needs of others before her own.
Blanche embraced retirement with joy in Albuquerque, New Mexico; surrounded by her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom she reflected on during her final moments.
Anyone who knew Blanche admired her dedication to health and well-being—her disciplined routine of mindful eating and daily vitamins contributed to her longevity and radiant beauty.
Blanche’s life was a testament to love, resilience, and kindness. May her memory forever be a blessing."
