Bob Byers

Robert "Bob" Byers, gracefully passed away on March 2nd, 2024, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Born in Trinidad, Colorado on March 10, 1936, Bob's journey through life was marked by his unwavering spirit and dedication to his passions.
 
Bob's legacy is adorned with various chapters of a life well-lived. Embarking on a path of creativity and artistry. Bob's love for ice skating translated into a professional career that brought joy to many. His involvement in the theater was nothing short of remarkable - from acting to construction and set design, Bob's multifaceted contributions enriched the stage and left an indelible mark on those around him. Moreover, his commitment extended to sharing his passion by imparting dance classes to others.
 
Beyond his professional achievements, Bob cherished his family above all else. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys, and Harry Byers, his first wife Harvey Jean Byers, and daughter-in-law Lynette Garcia. Left to honor his memory are his loving wife of 29 years, Judi “Buehler” Byers of Rio Rancho, NM; his daughter Cari Byers-Ives and her husband Bill of Las Vegas, NV; daughter and son-in-law Adriana and Dan Tenorio; grandchildren Ryan, Mason, Megan, and Jack; as well as his beloved dog Marley.
 
Bob’s zest for life and unwavering dedication to those he loved will forever echo in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. As we gather to mourn his loss but celebrate his legacy during the funeral service at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Sara Road Chapel in Rio Rancho on March 21st, let us remember Bob with fondness for the light he brought into our lives. In our memories and stories shared, Bob Byers will continue to inspire us towards creativity and passion for life's beauty.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Adobe Theater and Albuquerque Little Theater.  The family of Bob would like to thank everyone for their condolences, sentiments, and love during this trying time.
