Bobbie Jean Hindbaugh, 75, of Bloomfield, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, August 8, 2009. Bobbie was born May 4, 1934, in Wright City, OK. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas M. Tatum; mother, Tishey Tatum; brothers, Archie Tatum, Roy Tatum, John David Tatum, W.M. "Gib", Tatum and Sherman Tatum; one sister Commie Stafford; former husband, Everett Willis. Bobbie could brighten any room with her sparkling blue eyes and sweet smile. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with family. Her family and friends will miss her wonderful cooking. Her fried chicken, corn bread and delicious pies kept everyone coming back for more. Christmas was her favorite holiday because it gave her the opportunity to make special gifts for her grandchildren and bake pies, cakes and other treats. Bobbie enjoyed crocheting, crafts, shopping, and never thought twice about jumping in her car for a road trip to California. She loved her flower garden and the hummingbirds that would come from miles around. She is survived by her husband, John Hindbaugh; brother, Thomas Tatum Jr. of Malvern, Arkansas ; sister, Mattie Bohannon of Bakersfield, California ; sons, Robert (Kelly) Skiles of Wagonor, Oklahoma, Dennis Ray Skiles of Silvercreek, Georgia, Jimmy (Jamy) Skiles of Bakersfield, California; daughters, Debbie (Mike) Beckham of Bakersfield, California, Kelley (Chris) Marquez of Bloomfield, New Mexico; step-sons Everett Eugene Jr. (Kathy) Willis, Marlin (Jan) Willis, Lonnie (Alice) Willis and Ronnie Willis of Amarillo, Texas. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She had loving heart and will be missed by everyone that knew her. A very special thank you to the staff at the Gingerich Home and nurse Sandy Martin of Basin Home Health for your compassion and the loving care you provided. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Gingerich Home at 27 Road 5577, Farmington, NM 87401. Bobbie will then be laid to rest at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Farmington.
