Burrell, Bobby R
Bobby Ray Burrell was born March 10, 1943 in Pietown, New Mexico. He is the youngest of five sons born to I.V. Mae and Samuel Burrell. Bob entered into his eternal rest Monday, August 3, 2015. Bob was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Bob graduated from Valley High School in 1960; he was a successful contractor in the Albuquerque area from 1963 to 1980, building some of the first homes in Rio Rancho and Paradise Hills along with many custom homes. In 1980 he started Burrell Farms and produced some of the finest Alfalfa Hay grown in the Rio Grande Valley. During this time he also bred and raised cattle. Bob enjoyed team penning and roping with friends and family. Bob was a supporter of 4-H, and a member of the Sandoval County Sheriff's Posse and a member of the Southwest Roping Club. He also enjoyed Deer and Elk hunting and was an excellent marksman. He is survived by Susan, his wife of 45 years; his daughters Melanie M. Feldkamp and her husband David L. Feldkamp, and Melissa M. Hauke; his grandchildren Marcia M. Feldkamp, David P. Feldkamp, Marylynn Feldkamp, Eric J. Gordon, Jimmy L. Carroll, and Amanda L. Carroll; his great-grandchildren Alexandra, Andrei, Atticus, Aeson, Anika, Emma, and Aubrey; his brother Coy and wife Shirley Ann. Bob will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday August 8, 2015 at 10:30 AM at Daniels Family Funeral Services Sara Road Chapel at 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico 87124.
